A few years ago, we took one each of Brother Kolenda’s
books and put them away so we would have at least one copy.
Some were pamphlets or small books from very long ago.
Everything that he had published and was still here, we
tried to have at least one copy. This was not even close to
being one each of what he had written over the years. I was
looking through the stack and came across an article in one
of his small magazines from 1965 called, “United States
GOD’S Country.” Is this still GOD’S Country? Yes and many
of the warnings to America of what not to do has all ready
been done.
Brother E.J. Kolenda was a man that lived and thought
beyond his day. He said, “GOD is looking for men and women
that think and live beyond their day." I pray this for all
of us reading this. The notes in the article are from me.

GOD'S Country Article Written in 1965

GOD’S country America, a continent preserved for the end
time. A chief of nations, a missionary nation an undefeated
nation. The United States is not just an ordinary nation.
Does the Bible mention the United States in it’s pages?
Yes, the Bible speaks of so many nations, such as Egypt,
Palestine, the Bear of the North, Russia, Assyria, Germany,
so why should it not mention the United States.
America is a miracle. This country in approximately two
hundred years has risen from pine stumps to the most feared
nation, the wealthiest nation, the most modern and advanced
nation, the most powerful, dangerous and the greatest
nation in the world.
It is the preserver of peace, justice, the Bible, and human
rights.

It is the largest “block” in the way for communistic take -
over in the world. All communistic nations hate the United
States. The United States is here today to: “Proclaim
liberty throughout the land.” [Leviticus 25:10] Did you
know that this verse is the inscription on our Liberty Bell
in Philadelphia?
The United States has lost battles but not the war.
[Micah 5:8,9] “And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the
gentiles as a lion among the beast of the forest, as a
young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go down,
and teareth in pieces none can deliver. Thine hand shall be
lifted up upon thine enemies, and all thine enemies shall
be cut off.”
[Isaiah 54:17] “No weapon that is formed against thee shall
prosper.”
Yes, America is a miracle nation.
Other nations have had thousands of years advantage over
the United States, yet they are still the same small, weak
nations of poverty, illiteracy, and heathenism with its
slavery.
Look at the Far East. It is far behind in its development
as can be, yet it has existed for over thousands of years.
This same thing exist in the Latin Countries, China, India
and many other nations. Heathenism and idol worship has not
changed.

Look at Mexico. I was there and have personally witnessed
that on one side of the river, the Rio Grande, we see
wealth and thousands of acres of fruit and vegetable
gardens. All of this is on the United States side.
On the other side, the Mexico side, just a few hundred feet
away, you have poverty, barren fields and hunger. On one
side beautiful cities with cars and highways and the other
side is barrenness.
Remember, it is the same rain that falls on both sides of
this river.
Explain it apart from the word of GOD. You can’t. America’s
ground is blessed. The United States is GOD’S Country.
Let us consider this matter from this angle. In [Daniel
12:4] we read that “Knowledge shall increase.” Did you know
that we are living in the end-time? Do you know that it is
in the last 75 years that most all the inventions came into
existence?
Practically all the inventions came from the United States.
We are living in a great population explosion. There are
more people living on earth that ever before. This means
there must be more food provided for this increasing
number. This of course could not be without the use of
newly invented farm machinery.
The United States has contributed to the welfare of this
entire world. The heathen world included.
[NOTE: This article in 1965 was intended to wake people up
in America and all other nations and can we see that only a
few were listening]
Yes, America is GOD’S Country. Yet, if we do not
acknowledge GOD, if we insist upon walking contrary to GOD
and follow the ways of the heathen nations, there is no way
GOD can stop us from committing National Suicide.
[NOTE: Since 1965 is America guilty of all three of these
tragedies?]
There are three ways to do this.
First, in not fulfilling the purpose GOD intended for us.
Second, in removing the Bible, GOD’S Word from all of our
schools and public places.
Thirdly, by heavy taxation.
What is the intended purpose for the United States? We are
a tool in GOD’S hand to be a threshing instrument to
separate the chaff nations from the wheat nations. It is
also the Christian Nation that is built upon the Bible,
it’s foundation. The USA is a nation that uses a Bible for
the inauguration of it ruler, the president. It uses a
Bible in the court room for the oath. It uses it for the
laws of weights and measures. It is used in the Halls of
Justice in it’s judgments. America is great because it is
built on a great book - the Bible. [NOTE: This was in 1965]
Secondly, America can commit “National Suicide” by removing
the Bible from our public schools. Whatever the influence
may be to deny our youth the opportunity to read and know
GOD’S Word is to bring up a generation open to being taken
over and destroy the faith of our nation. In GOD we trust.
To forbid the reading of GOD’S Word, the Bible, in our
schools is anti-American.
The decision of the Supreme Court to forbid the reading of
a passage from the Bible in our schools is anti-American
and contrary to the wishes and traditions of the American
people. The Supreme Court is out of order when it starts
making laws for it is not a law making body. The Supreme
Court has forgotten that GOD has made America great. Read
[Deuteronomy 32:18] “Of the rock that begot thee, thou art
unmindful…” The cry is to keep religion out of the schools
and public places and that is fine. Keep religion out but
not the Bible because it is the Word of GOD. GOD is our
Father, our Creator, our Rock upon which this our nation is
built.
Thirdly, Taxation
One of the most peace-loving people in the world is the
American people. Evil forces in Washington are laying heavy
tax burdens on the American people and we are staggering
under the weight of it like a man who is drunk.
It is Unbearable!
Through the Income Taxes we are giving billions of dollars
to heathen nations or foreign nations for free. Here in
America the poverty stricken people are groaning and
suffering under the monstrous Income Tax Burden.
With the increase of taxes and living cost, our income from
Social Security has not increased proportionally.
The sad part is that the United States gives our
“confiscated income tax money” to other nations who boast
that they will join in with Russia, if we don’t agree to
give it to them. It is an unjust tax burden. It was
taxation that destroyed the Babylonian empire and many
others. Read the Bible [1 Kings 12:8-13] Taxation destroyed
the very wealthy kingdom of Solomon, the kingdom of Israel.
Why is it that Washington is so slow to learn?
No, the heathen nation may not be able to destroy GOD’S
Country, but we, here in this peace loving nation may be
committing national suicide, and no one can stop it from
the outside. Only Americans on the inside can stop it.
[NOTE: This was written in 1965. We should be shouting
this from the rooftops in our day of 2007. How much more
evil has the three become?]
