What Does Armageddon Mean?
This word, Armageddon, whenever it is used means THE END!
It means the last war to be fought in this age!
This word, Armageddon, is on the lips of thousands of people today. National news media, leaders, bankers, lawyers and
political leaders since it is the END-TIME Language!
I have preached the end-time message for over 75 years. Many say, "I have heard that all my life and look it still has not
happened. Thank GOD! It will come on us just as the Bible said it would.
Armageddon is a Fact in the Bible
We are coming ever closer to the end of the age leading up to Armageddon. I know it is much better to hear “Jesus loves you ”
and you are going up with him in an escape from the fire but that sermon won't stop Armageddon. It will come whether we
are ready, not ready or already gone from the earth.
The Language of the End-Time
The language that we hear for the end of this age sounds more like a sporting event than a Bible Prophesy taking place. Since
most who call themselves Christians believe they won’t go through the fire they are sure it won’t happen to them.
The common saying is “We won’t be here anyhow”. This ignorance of the Word is not beneficial to us.
Mankind has studied war for many milleniums. Children have a tremendous amount of war games that they play. The news cannot
go through even a few minutes without the mention of Nuclear Weapons or Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Peace Has Been Taken From the Earth
Will anyone know they are in the middle of Armageddon when it does come? The news will be shut down and radio and television
will no longer tell you what is going on. Will the preacher that you counted on for truth still yell you are
going up and escape even as the flesh is falling off the bodies around you? What will you do then? The bombs are
falling and you are looking up but were is this rapture that you counted on?
GOD is no Respecter of Persons.
I am realizing another “End-Time fact, many people are not as interested in the hearing of truth as they once were.
Armageddon and the End-Time Bible message has become fodder for the entertainment business. Books of fiction are for
entertainment and will not put you In CHRIST. They will cause you to fall asleep and live on an assumption that no matter
what happens to others it cannot happen to me.
Where are our leaders in the gospel today? They are in small assemblies with the few there be that find the narrow way.
[Hebrews 2:3] “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord,
and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him;”
The Coming War of Armageddon
War! Universal Destruction!
Millions now living will be cremated in a moment of time! Large cities will be destroyed and the millions of its population
will die in the first hour of destruction.
There will be NO Battlefields to Defend
The United States has now stockpiled enough nuclear bombs to destroy every living thing on this earth one hundred times over.
All materials of destruction for the Great Battle have already been manufactured and stockpiled. This has been done not only
in the USA but also in other nations of the world. They are getting ready for what the leaders know will come. We
are now trying to hurriedly get a defense in place to stop this mass destruction that is coming. Will they be
successful? For the answer we can always go to the Book of Prophesy that is never wrong, The Bible.
“Behold I come as a thief. Blessed is he
that watcheth, and keepeth his garments,
lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
And he gathered them together into a place
called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
[Revelation 16:15,16]
Our First Nuclear War
From the first day when Adam and Eve were placed on this earth, until today there has never been a nuclear war. We saw the Iraq
war with ever more precise horrific weapons. These are not nuclear bombs.
For 6000 years man has not experienced a war such as this world is facing now. All wars have had battlegrounds.
No living being can write a book, make a movie or television program that can accurately describe the results of such a war.
There will be no peace treaty, for there will be no one and no place left to write one. Each nation and community
will be cut off from the other.
Every war for the last 6000 years was a conventional war. It was located in a certain area and there was always the 'victor'
and the 'defeated'. Armageddon will be a worldwide nuclear destruction of mankind, and there will be no battlefield
or front line of battle. Every city, countryside, family and home will feel the effects of
this battle.
One bomb of five megatons in strength can cremate every living being in a city as large as Chicago or Los Angeles.
Let us now compare: The atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan weighed only 500 pounds and was little larger
that a football. Yet, this bomb cremated 280,000 people in a moment and leveled big concrete buildings in an area
eighty acre in size. This was only a tiny size bomb in comparison. This was
the first such killer bomb dropped on our earth.
You do understand that when a bomb is made the maker does not expect it to be used on them. The USA is not expecting to be
taken in this war or have bombs touch our shore. We are since September 11, 2001 seeing that we are very vulnerable to
attack.
Now, we have been comparing the damage done by small bombs. Now we have seen bigger bombs that took out far more in Iraq. It is
believed that bombs can be used to hit what they want to hit. Can a nuclear bomb be so precise? How will we respond to
this action? Will it be with a conventional bomb? Or will retaliation be done with a nuclear bomb?
This would cause nuclear explosions all over the world.
One source estimated that hundreds of thousands of Americans would die in the first hour of this war. The same will be true
of Russia, China and the other nations of the world.
Now the latest weapon, made by the United States and Russia is the particle ray. According to reports, this weapon is now
stationed in the heavens and can be aimed at any city on earth, destroying it in one and one-half seconds. Think of it! An
entire city destroyed by this particle ray in the 'twinkling of an eye'.
This death ray travels nearly the speed of light, is capable of destroying millions of lives on this earth in seconds. Russia
and the USA lead with these deadly particle ray weapons in space.
Every weapon that was formed has eventually been used on earth. What was intended for defense will be used in the war of
Armageddon.
The Aftermath of Thrust in the Sickle
[Let us use this example for you.] Say we have nine Billion people on earth. How will this
horror end?
[Zechariah 13:8,9] "And it shall come to pass, that in all land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and
die; but the third shall be left therein."
Two thirds of nine billion is six billion people all over the world dying in the "Battle of Armageddon"! The last one-third
of earth's population will then be purified and refined, as gold is refined. That means they will, "Go through the fire".
"And I will bring the third part through the fire…."
If one bomb of five million tons falls on Chicago or Houston every phase of life and work would be disrupted.
The refineries are hit - no gasoline.
The electric generators destroyed - no electricity.
The large elevators, warehouses and packinghouses hit and destroyed - no more food delivery.
With no electric the factories are idle, if not destroyed.
No electric means no lights in the home, no heat, no water. No gasoline means that traffic is at a standstill. No deliveries
of food.
No gasoline means that farmers cannot work their farms. All of this will result in a famine that has never been on earth
before. From this lack will come more plagues and more fighting. This time the fight will be over a morsel of bread
and a drink of water.
My plans are to stay ready at all times to go with the LORD or to go through the fire but the main thing is to Be-Ready.
This earth holds nothing that is worth losing your soul for. Eternity will go on Forever.
Don't wait and put off salvation in the hopes that another generation will pass before we have to worry.
Keep this in mind also, if you die Armageddon will not matter to you because that will end this age for you. Make yourself
ready and you won’t worry about this war.
