Power Over the Enemy
By: Minister E. J. Kolenda
First I wish to thank all of you for your
prayers. I am feeling so much better and was
even able to make a trip to Florida to see my
wife’s father who had surgery. Remember that I
still minister in person and will travel to
your place for a seminar, revival or just for a
week of teaching. Take me up on this before I
get to old to come. I am also planning to go to
Brazil next year 2003. Now on to the newsletter.
“And GOD said, Behold, I have given you every
herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all
the earth and every tree, in the which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall
be for meat.”
[Genesis 1:29]
All of us are familiar with the story of the
fall, but do we understand how it affected
man's rulership and dominion over the earth?
When man at the time of the fall, transferred
his allegiance from JEHOVAH ELOHIM to satan, he
also transferred his dominion through that very
transaction. Since the rulership of this earth
was a bona fide gift from GOD to man, man had
the legal right to do with it as he chose.
Man was made for authority. He was created and
fashioned for dominion. When he came fresh from
the hand of GOD, he was given rulership of the
earth, the kingship of its life, and the
control and mastery of its forces.
In [Genesis 1:26,27] it is recorded, "And GOD
said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness; and let them have dominion over the
fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth. So GOD created man in His own
image, in the image of GOD created he them"
The writer of the 8th Psalm states
specifically: "Thou madest him to have dominion
over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all
things under his feet."
Therefore, the rulership of this world, so far
as given to man, is not GOD'S because He gave
it to man. GOD cannot take back what He gave to
man. His Word always stands as He has stated
it. But now it is not man's because he gave it
to satan the enemy of GOD. Now satan is
therefore, the legal and actual ruler of this
world as far as that dominion was given to man.
That is why satan is referred to as the "god'
of this world, prince of this world and the
prince of the power of the air".
Now the only way GOD could legally reclaim it
for man and Himself, was through a flesh and
blood man. But where was the man who could
remove satan's legal claim to the earth and put
it back in the hands of man? Well, that is why
JESUS, the last man Adam came, a man among men,
and fought the most terrific battle ever waged
with satan, the false pretender to the throne.
Satan exercises his authority in the only way
that he can since JESUS shed His blood and was
resurrected and that is by the consent of the
human will.
The only power the enemy has, is exercised by
the consent of man. That is the basis of JESUS
promise to the Disciples, "Behold, I give you
power over all of the power of the enemy". It
is the basis for this promise, "I will give you
the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and
whatsoever you bind upon earth shall be
bound in Heaven." It is also the basis for this
promise, "The son of man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave
authority to his servants."
Every one of us today has authority and
dominion power. We have power and authority to
cast out devils, heal the sick and cleanse the
leper. The LORD has given all dominion power to
the Son. When we are In Christ we can do all things.
Are You Using This Authority IN CHRIST?
How much truth does it take to go to heaven?
May GOD Richly and Abundantly Bless You All,

The River of Blood and Tears
Have you ever considered how many lives were
given for this wonderful Gospel of CHRIST JESUS
that we love and teach? They did not just suffer
insults and hurt feelings but they suffered the
loss of their families, food, shelter, money,
physical beatings and finally death. Because
they would not compromise they suffered the loss
of all things so that others might be saved. To
them it was worth it. Is it worth it to us?
The next time you take your Bible in your hand
look at it real good. See the blood and tears
that drip from the pages onto your hands forming
a river. The blood and tears are there as a
written account, a record. Consider now how that
Bible came to be in your hands and how the words
on the paper became yours. It now belongs to
you. What will you do with the book that cost so
much?
Translation from the Hebrew and Greek took the
lifetime as well as the life of many men. Saving
the original writings and translating this book
did not come by faith or believing. It came
because many fasted, prayed, shed tears, endured
beatings, stoning, decapitation, crucifixion,
bloodshed and death so that you can hold that
Bible in your hands and even read it in your own
language. Many today are shedding tears and
blood for the Book of all books and the King of
all kings.
Peter was crucified and out of respect for the
LORD JESUS CHIRST he demanded to be put on the
cross upside down. He felt he was not worthy to
be crucified as CHRIST was. That is respect.
After the serious respect shown to the Bible by
our forefathers let us refrain from all joking
or fun making. They did not do this only for
themselves but also for others that would
follow. That would include us.
We have people on this very newsletter that walk
to the library or school to share a computer so
that they can have the newsletter. Know this,
dear brothers and sisters, the LORD writes it in
a book when you sacrifice to read about HIM. We
want to keep this newsletter very serious and
filled with truth for you. The time is way to
short for joking. Another thing I have noticed
for a while now is this, many say, “Now this is
what I believe”. Never say what you believe but
give the chapter and verse to back up what you
believe. I asked one person this, “Why do you
believe that”? He became angry and said, “It is
none of your business”. That let me know that
the chapter and verse that would back up that belief
in the Bible was missing from this conversation.
We were asked this question, “What do the old
stories in the Bible have to do with our lives
today”? If you will look around you and see the
violence on the earth then enlightenment can be
made as to the time period you live in by the
records in the Bible. Has the history of the
Bible come to pass? John was told to write, what
is, what has been and what will be.
How much do we consider this when we pick the
bible up to read. Do we really appreciate how it
came to be ours or are we just looking for a
story or a sermon? Do we really study only to
back up our beliefs or do we study with our minds open
for brand new truths that the LORD
has for us?
From Genesis to Revelation you will find
precious people shedding their blood and giving
their lives for what is taken so lightly by
many. You will find them on their knees in
fasting and prayer for YOU and ME. Can we grasp
this and hold on to it for life, eternal life?
Many of the prophecies have been made about our
very day that we live in right now. If some of
the religions on this earth have their way we
will also be shedding blood for this gospel. Are
we up to task? Will we shed blood or compromise
when the time comes? This will depend on the
reason that you became a Christian and how
deeply you are committed to GOD. Christian
people do not go looking for trouble but the
enemy will bring it to us. A decision will then
have to be made.
The path to salvation is literally covered with
tombstones of those who gave their lives that we
too might be set free from sin. I thank the LORD
for each and every one of them. Without each one
we would not be privileged to read this great
Holy Bible. So many lives were given just to
keep the writings.
CHRIST JESUS shed His Blood for the Remission of
sins. Many others shed their blood so that we
would know how to apply that same blood for our
salvation. Remember no matter what anyone tells
you they did not give their lives so that we
could be rich and famous. They gave their lives
so that we could also have salvation.
Thank You Heavenly Father for this most Precious
Blessing that came at such a high bloody and
tear filled price.

The best kinds of wrinkles indicate
where smiles have been.
Counting time is not so important
as making time count.
Almost anything in life is easier
to get into than out of.
Don’t count your years;
make your years count.
Some people have strong will power,
and some have strong won’t-power
Some people change their ways when they see the light;
Others only when they feel the heat.
The most common form of recycling is,
Eating your words.
