The Cup
By: Minister Ernest J. Kolenda
Communion is generally understood and accepted to be the
LORD’S Supper. It is known that the LORD JESUS
passed
The Cup. [Matthew 26:26-29]
Communion consist of the natural materials – Bread and
Wine. [Matthew 26:26; John 6:51-56; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26].
The Old Testament Passover feast is not the New Testament
Communion.
Communion was first practiced by the Melchisedec and
Abraham [Genesis 14:18]. Four hundred and thirty years
afterwards, under Moses and the Law, the Passover was
kept in memory of the exodus from Egypt. This continued
until the end of the age when the Law was fulfilled. A New
Covenant or New Testament came with the Death,
Burial and Resurrection of CHRIST.
Jesus, at the Last Supper, fulfilled the Passover and
reinstated the Melchisedec Communion of “Bread and Wine,"
which is the body and blood of the Lamb of GOD.
[Matthew 26:26-29]
The Melchisedec Communion is a seal of the Melchisedec Vow
which each of us take when coming into the
Melchisedec Order. Communion is also for the healing of our
body. It is Life! [John 6:48,51]
Communion also shows forth the Lord’s death. That is,
Communion points back to the day you individually have
‘died with Christ by Baptism into death’. [Romans 6:4,5]
To remember the death of Jesus historically is of very
little value to you. But, to remember Christ’s death
when YOU become involved with Him in His death makes
Communion alive and of the utmost importance. He took
the
Bread and Wine and passed ‘THE CUP’ and they all partook of
it. Do you partake of THE CUP?
To be baptized into His death [Romans 6:3] qualifies us for
Communion. Without being baptized in the Name
of the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the Remission of sins, we are
disqualified from participating in
Communion.
Communion in the Melchisedec Order is the heart of the
highest calling in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 3:14]
In the Old Testament, which is our school master, we find
that Israel had to be circumcised to be in the
covenant. Then once every year all Israel had to observe
the Day of Atonement. Every man had to confess his
sins, which he had committed in the presence of a High
Priest, Aaron. They showed up at the day of Atonement.
This is the way their sin was confessed. Then Aaron took
the blood of a sacrifice and he alone entered into the
Holy of Holies to make Atonement [covering] for the people
[Hebrews 9:7; Leviticus 16:33].
Aaron could not make atonement for the original Adamic sin.
Aaron could make atonement for the sins of the people only.
The Melchisedec Communion is a Communion served by a
Greater High Priest than Aaron. This High Priest is
CHRIST after His Resurrection. He is a New Creation
High Priest – A Melchisedec.
This New Creation High Priest can only minister to and for
a people who are in the New Creation.
This High Priest after the Order of Melchisedec does not
use the blood of animals as Aaron did. He [CHRIST]
entered into the heavenlies, into the celestial realm [or,
among the Celestials]. [Hebrews 7:17; Hebrews 8:6;
Hebrews 7:26; Hebrews 9:23, 24; Hebrews 9:11-15; Hebrews
7:27,28]
A Melchisedec High Priest offered bread and wine, which is
a type of the blood of the one and only
perfect sacrifice – the Lamb of GOD. This blood was shed for the
remission or the removal of our sins.
The ministry of Aaron, who used animal blood, was only for
Atonement or Covering of Israel’s sins. The
Melchisedec High Priest has a high and better ministry! It
is a ministry of Remission or Removal of the sins of
the people.
The Melchisedec priesthood can Remit sins
[John 20:23; Matthew 16:19]
Everyone who belongs to the celestial order by the oath of
the Melchisedec Order can enjoy the ministry of the
Melchisedec Celestial Priesthood.
“And if we confess our sin…” [1 John 1:9; 1 John 2:1,2] He,
Christ our High Priest, is our propitiation for our
sins. [1 John 2:2].
Communion, first of all, belongs to those who have the
original Adamic sin remitted [or removed] by baptism,
being set free from the Adamic “fallen nature” by baptism
into death. [Romans 6:4,5]
Self-examination does not make you worthy. However, when
you have associated yourself with the death, by
action, in Baptism into death, then you are worthy. The
Communion Cup, the Blood of Jesus, is taken, not
because you are sinless, but because it removes your sins
and He is our propitiation for our sins through His Blood.
[1 John 2:2]
In [Isaiah 59:2] it tells us that our sins separate us from
GOD. After baptism it is no longer Adam’s sin that
separates us but our own.
In Communion, actual Bread and actual Wine, is to be used.
The Scriptures are found here. [Matthew 26:26; Genesis
14:18; 1 Corinthians 11:23,25]
So each Resurrection Day, which is the first day of the
week, take the communion for Remission of our personal
sins. This day is our Sunday or the first day of each week.
The day following the Sabbath is our Communion Day.
I have given you many scriptures to study. Please do not
discount these words until you have exhausted all
study of the scriptures. The statements here are made
sensibly and according to the Bible.
We take Communion for the purpose which Christ Jesus left
it on earth for us. There is no other reason to take
it. Know that the number one purpose of taking the Bread
and Wine is for Remission or Removal of sins. There
are many benefits that come with the taking of Communion
and will be covered in other articles.
How much truth does it take to go to heaven?

Beginnings come so easily, but finishing the course is
hard. It is so easy when a project is first begun and
you're filled with the excitement of a new beginning. But
when the work begins and you are alone, that is another
story.
I look around at all the projects that I want to do.
Excitement is flowing and I am up for the job. Then little
things creep in and suddenly the excitement has turned to
work. I get tired and cranky and find that the finished job
is not what I had planned. Oh but there will be another
exciting job coming.
The one thing that I don't want to leave undone or half
finished is the LORD'S work. The other thing is my
salvation. We can get along on earth when things aren't
quite finished, but we can't get into heaven with a
half-finished salvation. Help us LORD to keep on the
narrow way.

Old Errors and laws made by men.
Time is the most expensive thing in our life
