*Thunder Wind and Rain

Let me begin by saying as I do every year that old age is a
high price to pay for maturity. But I do not give out the
thunder and wind as I once did when I was younger.Back then
I thundered with my sermons and wind would blow from the pulpit.
My illustrated sermons were very competitive with others and
worked well toward bringing people into the church. Now I have
learned that thunder and wind lacks real teaching with scripture
backing that will cause them to understand.
Like all sermons preached I had some of the truth. I was sincere and
I believed what I was preaching. I sure wish I could go back and do
them over again. Since that is not possible I will do my very best now
but if I find out I have been wrong on something I sure will change it
immediately. Does that bring persecution? Yes, it really does. It will
separate you and cause the loss of so much. Has it been worth it? YES!
Now I produce a gentle rain of doctrine that drops from revelation
work. Thank you for the Birthday wishes and prayers.
I stood upon the mountain and behold, The LORD passed by.
An earthquake--yes, a great earthquake--rent the mountain to pieces.
A great wind--yes, a great wind--but The LORD was not in the wind.
Perchance The LORD was in the earthquake. Oh, look! A fire—a voice--
Elijah heard the voice that spoke to him about the one that would
succeed him in the ministry of a prophet.
The Thunder Comes Before The Rain.
Now, in the closing days of this dispensation of grace, is the time of
the latter rain. Again we hear the thunder and the wind; but look up,
it is going to rain. I have lived through much of it. I heard the
thunder, and it does thunder long before it really rains.
I heard The Thunder and Was Thunderstruck.
Haven't you heard the thunder? I did. One time I went to a convention
and oh, but did it thunder. Said the speaker, "In our city, we are
building a church that will seat twenty-five thousand people. You know,
to finance this GOD will give me an oil well." Teaching the people was
not mentioned. I was truly thunderstruck.
Again, I heard it thunder in another direction. Said the other speaker,
"We shall build a church that will seat ten thousand people." Lo, the
wall went up, and that is all even to this day. Just ghostly looking
walls. All of a sudden, I heard some more loud thunder, and this
speaker said, "I am going to build an international church to seat
fifty thousand people, and have fifty-seven languages, with a chapel
for each language." Oh, what a thunder that was.
I then heard thunder in a different direction. "We can change the
world." Being quite interested, I tried to find out how. The thunder
that says the land of Israel does not belong to Israel but to others.
No matter how contrary to Scripture this is, the thunder keeps on
saying, “Give part of Israel to others.” This is the same land that
every country seems to covet for some reason. Could it be that they
want it because it belongs to YAHWEH ELOHIM? If the devil could take
GOD’S land wouldn’t that thrill him? This is loud disturbing thunder.
I expect thunder. Many thunders sound when it is about to rain. Don't
be discouraged; when it begins to rain a steady, even rain, the thunder
is gone. “My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as
the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers
upon the grass:” [Deuteronomy 32:2]
Don't be despaired or afraid when you hear the sharp crack of thunder
crash, such as, "We don't need the Bible Doctrines anymore. Jesus has
already come, and I am now saved by my belief.” The loud thunder that
cosmetic grace will take you out of bondage. Dress right, look holy and
you will be holy. Manmade tradition is a big thunder without scripture
backing.
It's only thunder. Sounds loud and important and scares people into
doing things that they might not have had there been time to think in
the quiet. Time to listen to the Still Small Voice. Don't get excited.
It will not hurt you; it is only thunder. There is no rain in empty
thunder. The rain comes later. But don't forget it is going to rain, as
surely as GOD'S promise is true. Oh, how we like to make GOD fit into
our way of thinking. Aren't we humans strange?
Our thinking about GOD is so small. We picture in our minds the things
we think GOD would be pleased with. We have the idea that GOD would
love us more if only. He does not love us based on what we do but what
we are. Do you love your children for what they do or love them less
for what they don’t do? No you love them because they are your
children. Doctrine is what He loves. All the sacrifice and offering
cannot make you a son of GOD. Following the doctrines as they are
written will beget you and bring you into the place to be born again or
manifested into the Heavens. The thunder will not harm you.
A Great Wind Storm Is Now Blowing.
I was startled by the thunder, when all of a sudden I was conscious of
a great windstorm blowing. Oh, such wind! Everyone who was not rooted
and grounded was shifted around so badly, no one knew where he or she
stood. Some followed this way and some followed that thing and it was a
tossed about people.
Paul said, "Be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
by every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men."
[Ephesians 4:14]
How the wind was blowing; every pulpit had a different message. The
wind came from this direction and said, "I get the Word directly from
GOD, so I don't need The Bible Doctrines." Then some more wind blew
from another direction and said, "It does not matter how, or if, you
are baptized. We are all going to Heaven anyway.”
Another said, "I will baptize you anyway you want me to." If you want
the Name I will call it over you or if you want the gender I will just
use that.” There is so much compromise just to keep the people coming.
The Bible in all cases requires a fit man to do the job. GOD does not
have to rely on lukewarm compromisers to do this job. There is a
remnant that is fit and please be one of them.
Can you imagine a little sheep or goat telling the shepherd how to do
things? What value would the shepherd be if the sheep tell him how to
lead? How can an unlearned man know how to be baptized if you never
tell him about Peter's message on the day of Pentecost? How can he know
about [Romans Chapter 6] without a man to teach him?
In [Acts 8:28-40] we find Philip as directed by the Holy Spirit joining
himself to the chariot of the eunuch. The eunuch was reading in the
book of Isaiah. Philip asked, “understandest thou what thou readest?”
His answer was, “How can I except some man should guide me?” And he
desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. Now we know that
Philip did more than sit there. He taught the man about JESUS CHRIST.
Afterward the eunuch said this, “And as they went on their way, they
came unto a certain water; and the eunuch said, “See, here is water;
what doth hinder me to be baptized?” What does this lead you to believe
was in this teaching? Notice that they also went down into the water.
Annanias said to Paul, “why tarriest thou? Go and wash your sins away.”
How can a candidate for baptism tell you how they would like to be
baptized if they have never been taught? Oh how the wind is blowing on
this one. Remember everyone you meet will have an opinion on this
subject. That is the wind blowing, as are all opinions. But what does
the bible say?
Winds of False Doctrine are Everywhere.
The winds of false doctrine are everywhere. Your anchor is the Bible,
the Word of GOD. How the wind can pile up all kinds of rubbish, dry
leaves, paper, or just about anything that is lightweight and easily
moved. When the wind blows the rubbish will go to and fro depending on
what direction the wind is going. Now we are hearing that you can be
baptized by faith and have Communion by faith. This is a strong wind
blowing all around.
The urge is to evangelize every country. If you cannot establish the
Kingdom in your own country, how do you expect to do it in another
country? Wind, wind, and gone with the wind. Of course the wind blows
in all nations.
Now the thundering has ceased; the windstorm is about over, and
momentarily it shall begin to rain. “My doctrine shall drop as the
rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the
tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:” [Deuteronomy 32:2]
Ask The LORD for rain in the time of latter rain. Oh, how glad we will
be when the noisy thunder and wind has ceased! It sure made a noise and
a whirlwind, but now look for the rain. Rain plenty of rain. Double
portion of the same as the Apostles had in the book of Acts.
In fact, the book of Acts is the Genesis of the New Testament, like the
first book was the beginning of the Old Testament. The book of Acts is
the beginning of the Church Age and we have a New Testament. God is
restoring what was lost in the dark ages in these last days. Let me
call you from your slumber, oh church, wake up. Feel the gentle rain as
it drops from Heaven.
You who have the Name of The LORD JESUS CHRIST invoked upon you in
baptism, this is your heritage. Enter you into the Joy of the LORD. As
the eunuch did and as Paul and all the others did, go on your way
rejoicing because the Thunder and Wind is almost over and the beautiful
cleansing rainwater will soon come.
Water is a very important thing in our world. We may live without some
things but we cannot make it without water. Al things would be unclean
without water.

In the hurry and scurry of our everyday world we sometimes feel as
though we are totally alone in a crowd. For any of you that write,
paint or work in seclusion, you will especially feel this isolation.
Yet in order to do our jobs and serve the LORD we have to be willing to
separate ourselves and spend some time alone.
Many evenings at suppertime we say, “how did your day go today?” Even
though we work in the same house and see each other our work is
different. The LORD said to assemble yourselves especially as you see
the day approaching. Do you ever get the feeling that we are doing just
the opposite.
Brother Kolenda and I are finding ways to just stop and sit down and
talk. Just the time on Sunday when we have people come seems to take
away the aloneness. Being alone is good at times otherwise work would
not be accomplished. I know there are many of you that would love to
have a little time to be alone. Being alone with the LORD for a good
talk and maybe a good cry is the most cleansing of times. Afterward
things seem to be better.
When I read the Bible I find out just how much each person gave up for
the gospel’s sake. Each one gave up so much and there were none as
alone as CHRIST on earth. We have a sign in our house that reads, “We
didn’t have to do what we did, but we did it for the gospel’s sake.” I
would not trade one minute of my work for the LORD or my life for the
life of the world. My only regret is that I was not doing this sooner.
How about you? Are glad that you gave your life over to the LORD? The
next time you feel lonely remember to send us an email and then we will
each be less lonely. If you have emailed us and did not get an answer
send another email. If we don’t answer then something happened beyond
our control. Just try again.
Take time this week to be good to yourself. Remember this that your
body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost. Treat it well. Brother Kolenda
will be 98 years old/young tomorrow and we will celebrate the fact that
he is drinking lots of water and Gatorade. It has been a tremendous
miracle and he is even getting his voice back like it was when he was
younger.
