*Why Not Baptism?

By: Minister E. J. Kolenda

We see many articles and have many questions asking
“Why Baptism?” but I say “Why Not Baptism”? Why not
receive the true benefits that are given to you by the
Blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST? Remember when the LORD
will ask, “What did YOU done with My Word?” it will be
you alone He is asking and not your pastor, teacher or
me. We will also be facing this same question alone.

Much confusion exists today as to why we are baptized
and the importance of baptism. To properly treat this
subject we must stay onthe Word of GOD and forget
religious creeds as well as what you have always heard.
Remember to believe what you have always heard is just
an echo. Until you prove it out for your own self it
will remain an echo.

The LORD has placed many ministries in the church for
your In Christ living. They are an absolute necessity.
In this article I want to stress the fact that it will
be up to you to choose your teacher. This why you need
to study and be sure that what is being taught is
according to the Bible. Eternal life is so important
that another person should never decide for you.

When told that you must do something in order to be
saved, instead of immediately saying no, no, why not
look at the Scriptures and see what the LORD’S
Commandments say concerning subject.

Surely no man should come to any conclusion until he
has exhausted all study of the subject. For a subject
that means life or death to us, it would be unwise not
to look seriously into the fullness of the subject. You
need to be reconciled to GOD by Baptism in water with
the NAME LORD JESUS CHRIST spoken over you for the
Remission of sins.

When I write an article and give you many scriptures,
then please by all means, prove me and see if these
things are true.

The foundation of the church is so carefully laid and
is so strong in its construction that it cannot be
moved. One of the main parts is “Remission of Sins”
and that by Baptism of Water AND Spirit, which is ONE
BAPTISM. Upon this great stone foundation stands the
cross of Calvary. To destroy baptism for the remission
of sins means to destroy the principle of Calvary.

In the remaining part of this article I shall point out
a few things concerning Remission. And please remember
that I did not just suddenly come to this conclusion on
my own. I have many Bible Scriptures that support the
necessity of Baptism. Please check them out and if you
need more let me know.

Jesus died to remit the ungodly man’s sin. The sinner
can get forgiveness. I shall explain by way of the
following Scripture [1 Peter 4:18] “And if the
righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly
and the sinner appear?”

Here we have three classes of people. We have the
Righteous, the Ungodly, and the Sinner.

The sinner is the man who is in the Church. The ungodly
man is dead in sin. He is dead and needs to be born
again, made alive. As far as GOD is concerned he is a
“no people”. Jesus said, “I know you not”.

In the Gospels we read that Jesus ate with the sinners.
He did not eat with the Gentiles or ungodly people. He
ate with those that were in the Covenant, only they
were Covenant breakers or sinners to the Covenant. They
were of Israel only they did not live according to the
Covenant Commandments.

Today we have the same condition. People are in the
Church or the New Covenant only they are not living up
to the new Covenant requirements.

The ungodly man has never come into the relationship
with the Head of the Church. He has never come into the
New Testament experience and legal possession of
Eternal Life. He is not a sinner but is godless.

In order to come into a legal relationship with the
head of The Church, Jesus Christ, he must, first of all
have the Adamic sin dealt with. This Adamic sin is
inherited. You cannot find one single person on earth that
was not born with this sin. We did not commit this sin but
we inherited this sin from our father Adam.

”If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the
truth is not in us…” [1 John 1:8].

Here is what John said about the ungodly man. “He that
committeth sin is of the devil.” [1 John 3:8]

You see, dear reader, Adam’s sin was an unpardonable
sin. It cannot be forgiven. Adam’s sin is called the
death penalty. Adam was not tempted. Neither was He led
astray. [1 Timothy 2:14] What Adam did was done
voluntarily. Willingly he offered satan all his GOD
given dominion.

Adam was to rule by dominion power over earth and the
heavens. He was in not only the image but also the
likeness of JEHOVAH ELOHIM. Think of it!

[Psalms 8:4-6] declares that GOD made man to have
dominion over the works of His hands and all things
were under his feet.

Adam was a beloved son of GOD and now he commits a
crime that involves ALL MANKIND and this includes the
Whole World. John the Baptist calls it “the sin of the
world”.

Adam became a traitor to JEHOVAH ELOHIM, his Creator.
The devil did not take anything away from Adam. Adam
gave it away. Satan received the kingdom of this world
on legal terms. A price was paid but it was on legal
terms and was a legal document.

Note in [Luke 4:6] satan told Jesus, “All this power
was delivered unto me and to whomsoever I will give it.”

Jesus did not dispute with satan for he knew that satan
had legal possession. Jesus, Himself, called satan “The
prince of this world”. [John 12:31]

Paul calls him in [2 Corinthians 4:4] the “god of this
world”. In this case god means “an object of worship”.
He holds rule over our world system and there are many
ways that the devil is worshipped. He also has millions
who obey him every day.

Adam, who was the god of this world, gave his dominion
away and became a traitor to his Creator, JEHOVAH ELOHIM.

Now treason is an unpardonable sin. It cannot be
forgiven in this world or the world to come. The justice
of the Courts of GOD pronounces Death as the penalty.

(Ezekiel 18:4) “The soul that sinneth it shall die.”
GOD Said in the Garden, “Thou shalt surely die.” Paul
says in (Romans 6:23) “The wages of sin is Death.” The
crime of treason is always punishable by death. Even
the nations of the world have adopted this method of
punishment for traitors.

Adam also had his nature changed when he sinned. The
imaginations of men became evil. He partook of satan’s
nature. The word death is translated “satan’s nature.”
He was separated from JEHOVAH ELOHIM. Now mankind is
born with a mixture of both good and evil. Every human
being is born with this mixture.

When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, He said, “You must be
born again.” You must receive instead of death, life.
You must be Baptized with Water and Spirit. This is ONE
BAPTISM. Baptism of the Holy Spirit without the Baptism
in water is only one-half of the Baptism. This is
partial obedience and so is also Baptism in water
without the Holy Spirit.

It was the crime of treason that alienated Adam from
GOD. The saddest thing of all is that this sin of
Adam’s passed upon all of mankind. Paul teaches in
[Roman 5:12] that sin passed upon all men. In [verse 19]
it says, “By one man’s disobedience many were made sinners.”

forgiven us. It is an unpardonable sin! There is no
pardon for it. The soul that sinneth it shall die
[be separated from GOD]. Therefore, that sin must be
REMITTED and to remit is to completely remove it. It
MUST be removed by the Invocation of the Name, LORD
JESUS CHRIST, by Baptism in water. You cannot pray it
away because you did not commit it. Adam himself could
not pray the sin away or have it pardoned.

In [1 Timothy 5:24] it reads, “Some men’s sins are
opened beforehand, going before to judgment, and some
men’s, they follow after.”

By remission of sins at baptism we are buried into
death, actually paying up or remitting our sins or, in
other words, sending our inherited sins before to judgment.

Those who have no remission of sins by baptism, their
sins follow after and on the judgment day it is to late
to deal with them. Adam sinned and brought death and
the reason we call this sins in the plural is that it
causes us to inherit the sin nature, which brings sins.

In [Matthew 28:19] JESUS CHIRST tells us this, “Go ye
therefore, and TEACH all nations, baptizing them in the
NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost.” There was no dispute between any of the apostles
as to Baptism. Father, Son and Holy Ghost is not a Name!

(1 John 5:16) says “If any man see his brother sin a
sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall
give him life for them that sin not unto death. There
is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.”

Why shouldn’t we pray for it?

The unpardonable inherited sin already has its
judgment, Death. The ungodly man who has this sin, need
not pray for it, for all the praying in the world will
not remove it. That sin must be remitted. We need not
wait for the judge to pronounce the penalty. That has
already been done. Now the penalty must be executed. We
must die!

Paul now tells us it is By Baptism into Death. (Romans 6:4)
Not by faith or believing but by baptism.

Now for a moment let us look at the principles of
Calvary or at Jesus, the Lamb Of GOD. Jesus died for
the whole world. His blood washes sins away. John the
Baptist Said, “Behold the Lamb of GOD that taketh away
the sin of the world.”

Jesus paid for our inherited sin as well as our
personal sins. Our personal sins or lack of perfection
are remitted with Bread and Wine but that is another
article. JESUS CHRIST paid for these sins with His Life.
He died. You will have to pay the same price. You must
die, not by faith, but by baptism. (Romans 6:3,4).

Jesus went through death, burial and Resurrection for
you and you must also follow Him. You do this by
Baptism in the NAME Of The Man That died For YOU, the
LORD JESUS CHRIST. Remember that CHRIST said, “I come
in My Father’s NAME.

What if Jesus had said, “Oh it is not necessary”? What
if He had only been hung on the cross but decided he
didn’t really need to die after all? What if He had
said, “That is enough Father since I have already shed
some blood and from here on I will just pray and believe”?
Thankfully He carried out the entire Death, Burial
AND Resurrection.

Yes, JESUS died for the Remission of sins, the Adamic
sin. Read the following Scriptures for an anointed
enlightenment. [Matthew 26:28; Hebrews 9:22; Acts 2:38;
Romans 3:25; Hebrews 10:18; and Luke 24: 45-47]

Under the law in the First Covenant it was the bleeding
lamb at the altar that gave a covering [atonement] that
pointed to the Lamb of GOD for Remission of their sins
[Romans 3:25]. The blood of JESUS CHRIST really does
Remit sins. The blood of bulls and goats does not, but
it did associate them with the Cross. The blood of
JESUS washed away the sins of only those who sacrificed
on altars according to obedience of the Word. Even
Atonement was only for those who had been circumcised.

In The Church Age the Blood of Jesus washes away the
sins of those who, by baptism in water, associate
themselves with Calvary. “For him that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved.” [Mark 16:16]

Jesus died for Remission of sins. Water Baptism is
therefore for the remission [removal] of sin, for the
cross reaches them who obey death, burial, and resurrection.

Many other things could be said but we will end this
unfinished treatise by reading (Romans 5:10), “For when
we were enemies, we were reconciled to GOD by death
(the penalty for sin) of His Son; much more being
reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life.”

I have touched very lightly on matters worthy of your
consideration. No final conclusion can or should be
drawn by so few lines of discussion of such a great
subject. I hope I have given you something that will
cause you to search out the Word and cause you to think
further than what you have always heard. Remember there
is nothing in the Word of JEHOVAH ELOHIM to be afraid
of. Any commandment that is given in the Father’s Bible
is for your Benefit and Salvation and not a cause for the
bondage of fear.

How much truth does it take to go to heaven?

May Christ our Melchisedec King and High Priest
Richly and Abundantly Bless You All,

Your Minister and Apostle of Revelation Truth

E. J. Kolenda

We are going to Rochester, Michigan next week to do
Bible teaching and to visit. We are very much looking
forward to this trip. Due to matters beyond our control
it was put off twice and that makes it even more
precious. Especially since the first time my father had
surgery for colon cancer and now he is doing just
great. Thank you also for your prayers. Then our dear
sister where we are going had knee surgery. She is
doing great and keep her in your prayers. She is always
so joyful.

There is a great excitement when you know talk of our
Father in Heaven and His Son, Christ Jesus will be the
topic of conversation and teaching. Since this is the
subject that our very life depends on it will be
wonderful.

Brother Kolenda is really looking forward to going. He
is in better health at 98 than he was at 97. His body
may not be as strong as it once was but his mind is
stronger and more fixed on the In Christ Message as
each day goes by. By reason of exercise our minds stay
so healthy.

So get him to come to your meeting to teach while you
have the chance to be taught by him. Large crowds are
not a requirement. We teach one person the same as if
they were thousands and perhaps even better. One on one
teaching is wonderful. Brother Kolenda is still one of
the most effective and strong speakers of the truth
that I have ever heard. If you have a small church I
will promise you that we will find a way to come.

I ask the LORD for the spirit of prayer and
supplication every day. He is so generous to give it to
me. Remember every one of you will receive benefits of
this spirit because you are truly included DAILY in our
prayers. No matter what you are going through, just
know that you have someone praying for you. We are here
if you want to come and visit. We are here if you want
to call or email. That is my ministry, helps, so come
on over or write and say hello.

May You Feel our Prayers Rest Upon You,

Your Minister of Helps

*Nobody’s Friend

My name is gossip. I have no respect for justice. I
maim without killing. I break hearts and ruin lives. I
am cunning and malicious and gather strength with age.

The more I am quoted the more I am believed.

My victims are helpless. They cannot protect themselves
against me because I have no face and no name. To track
me down is impossible. The harder you try the more elusive
I become.

I am nobody’s friend and no respecter of persons. Once
I tarnish a reputation, it is never the same. I topple
governments and wreck marriages.

I ruin careers and cause sleepless nights, heartaches
and indigestion. I make innocent people cry in their
pillows. Even my name hisses. I am called gossip. I
make headlines and headaches.

Before you repeat a story, ask yourself:
Is it true? Is it harmless? Is it necessary?
If it isn’t, don’t repeat it.
