Word Power

You think a thought and then you open your mouth and there
will come words that will either build up or tear down.
Thoughts followed by words are very powerful. The saying is
that words will never hurt me but this is very untrue.
Words can bring extreme happiness and also bring extreme
grief. The same mouth can also speak both. In the book of
James you will find this matter of the tongue well covered
and as Christians we need to really keep our tongues on a
righteous path.
GOD spake and it was done. In so many instances GOD used
only words to bring about the answer to man's many
problems. In {Proverbs 6:2}, you read, "Thou are snared
with the words of thy mouth and with the words of thy mouth
thy art taken".
Take note that it is 'what' you say that either binds you or
it will loose you from your bondage. Jesus Said, "According
to your faith so be it unto you".
Your faith is being manifest by your words, as in [Romans
10:10] "For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation."
You are snared with the words of your mouth. Snared means to
be trapped caught so you can't get away. Let us watch our
words. Everything that ever was done is first done by
words. Every transaction has completely been gone over with
words first.
Let us illustrate - every purchase you have made, first,
you have said in your heart, I will buy this. Every place
you have gone you have first said, "I will go to that
place". In fact everything you have ever done, or every
place you have ever gone, first you have spoken the word.
In Genesis, we read how the LORD GOD SAID, "Let us make
man…" First he spoke it then He made man. You too can
resist the devil by Your Words. You too, can by your words
cast out devils, heal the sick and overcome your
circumstances and problems.
There is a source of power unknown in the world today, the
power of words. In [Matthew 12:37] you will read, "For by
THY WORDS thou shalt be justified, and by THY WORDS thou
shalt be condemned."
If you say "I can't" then you surely can't. If you say "I
can" then you surely can. If you say I am afraid, then that
is all you will be, you are snared in fear. Why not like
Paul said, "I can do all things in Christ Jesus who
strengtheneth me."
Elijah in The Old Testament knew the secret of power, [1
Kings 17:1], "There shall be no dew nor rain these three
years but according to My Words."
In [Matthew 8:8] the centurion answered and said, "Lord, I
am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: BUT
SPEAK THE WORD ONLY". You see words heal, words cut, words
build, words set free, words tear down - doubt breeds more
doubt - weakness breeds more weakness. When you tear
someone down you pull him down to your level. It is words
of faith that works wonders and builds up. Try It!
Remember also that all words begin as a thought in our mind
and only then can they be spoken.

Christ Jesus the stone that the builders rejected. That
rock was smote and from Him came a river of eternal life
that flows forever.
In the desert Moses smote the rock and all the people had
plenty of water to drink. This saved their physical lives
and quenched their thirst but they soon thirsted again.
The living water from our rock that was smote saves our
souls. We will never thirst again after this living water.
What Israel rejected has been given to us for our
salvation. Make your foundation sure and look for His
appearing. Take note that knowledge is increasing, wars and
rumors of wars and the list of end of the age signs are
everywhere we look. Look up your redemption draweth nigh.
